NetJets plans private terminals in Austin and Dallas, filings show
The fractional ownership operator is exploring an 8,000-square-foot facility near Austin-Bergstrom and an 80,000-square-foot hangar campus at Dallas Love Field, with construction potentially starting in the coming months.

NetJets is planning two private terminal projects in Texas, according to public filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation reviewed by Flying Magazine.
The larger project is a "Dallas NetJets Campus" at Dallas Love Field's Hangar E, estimated at $35 million. It would comprise an 80,000-square-foot aircraft hangar and 18,000 square feet of shops and office space. Construction could begin as soon as November 2025 and finish by May 2028, per the filing.
The smaller project is an 8,000-square-foot private terminal near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (KAUS), estimated at $19.5 million. Construction of the facility could begin as soon as January 2027 and be complete by June 2028. The project, called "Signature Aviation Terminal Project for Netjets," also includes 106,000 square feet of airside ramp space and a parking lot. It would be located at 2500E State Highway 71 down the road from Austin-Bergstrom, which is one of the nation's busiest private jet airports.
NetJets would be the tenant of the Signature Aviation-owned Austin facility. HDg Architecture of Orlando, Florida, is listed as the design firm for the Austin project.
These would be NetJets' first private terminals located in Texas. Flying Magazine reports that NetJets already operates private terminals in New York, New Jersey, Florida, California, Arizona, Colorado, Ohio, and Montana, with future terminals planned for Harry Reid International Airport (KLAS) in Las Vegas and Augusta Regional Airport (KAGS) in Georgia.
What the filings do not say
Neither filing indicates what these facilities mean for NetJets' existing operations in Texas or how they will affect the company's service offerings or pricing in the state. It is unclear from available reporting whether existing cardholders or fractional owners in the region will be affected by the new facilities, or whether the timing difference between the two projects—the Austin terminal targeting a January 2027 start and the Dallas campus targeting November 2025—reflects separate development schedules or market priorities.
