STA Jets acquires International Jet, a Colorado charter operator with 12 aircraft

STA Jets has acquired International Jet, a Colorado-based charter operator, in a deal that closed on 14 October 2026, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons.

International Jet operates 12 jets under its FAA Part 135 certificate from its base in Centennial, Colorado. The acquisition extends STA Jets' geographic reach and fleet capacity. STA Jets is one of the U.S.'s busiest jet charter operators and offers fleet management and charter flights.

The deal

Kurt Belcher, STA Jets founder, said in a press release that "STA is growing with purpose and momentum" and that "each addition makes the STA network broader, our capabilities stronger, and our service better for the clients who rely on us."

Belcher continued: "For 47 years, International Jet has earned the trust of its clients through safety, service, and consistency. That legacy is exactly what makes this partnership compelling. We're committed to preserving what makes International Jet exceptional while adding the scale, resources, and reach of the STA network."

Operations and branding

International Jet's services will remain the same, according to an STA Jets spokesperson, and "will be improved with STA Jets ownership." However, the spokesperson declined to comment on whether International Jet would be rebranded or assimilated into STA's operations.

Neither party has disclosed what the acquisition is worth. The reporting does not say whether existing clients of International Jet will see any changes to pricing or contract terms under STA Jets ownership.

Private Jet Card Comparisons did not report whether STA Jets plans to integrate International Jet's operations into its existing network or maintain it as a standalone brand. The outlet also did not disclose whether staff from International Jet will be retained or reassigned, or what the financial terms of the transaction are.
