Stratos Jets renews ARGUS safety certification for 12th consecutive year

Stratos Jets, a Florida-based charter broker with a franchise program, has renewed its ARGUS safety certificate, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons. The broker first earned the certificate in 2014 and has renewed it annually.

The renewal does not affect what charter clients pay or their access to aircraft. ARGUS certification applies to the broker's own vetting and oversight of flights, not to the operators that actually fly the jets.

Safety standards across the franchise network

Joel Thomas, Stratos CEO, said in a press release that "as our network grows, our commitment is to ensure that the same rigorous safety standards are applied to every flight arranged through the Stratos network."

Thomas continued: "All Stratos advisors are supported by a common framework of vetting, verification and oversight that reinforces accountability across the network. Independent scrutiny helps us continually strengthen that process and gives the clients served by our franchisees greater confidence in the decisions made on their behalf."

What the certification covers

The ARGUS certificate applies only to Stratos as a broker. It does not certify the operators with which Stratos arranges flights. Charter clients holding Stratos contracts rely on Stratos's own vetting of those operators, which the ARGUS audit reviews annually.
