TLC Jet offers 100,000 AAdvantage miles to new charter customers
The limited-time promotion runs through 31 December and applies to first-time bookings with the on-demand operator.
TLC Jet is offering new customers 100,000 AAdvantage miles for booking their first private charter with the company between now and 31 December, according to Flying Magazine. The promotion is available to AAdvantage members in good standing and applies to holiday travel, business trips and other private charter services.
Qualification and mileage fulfillment are subject to TLC Jet's promotional terms and the applicable AAdvantage program terms. Customers can contact TLC Jet directly to confirm eligibility and get full details on the offer.
The AAdvantage partnership
The promotion builds on TLC Jet's partnership with American Airlines, which launched in April. Under that programme, eligible AAdvantage members earn 1 mile and 1 loyalty point for every dollar spent on qualifying TLC Jet charter flights. The earning calculation uses base flight charges, excluding taxes and fees, and it is free to join for members in good standing. Miles may take up to 30 days to appear in a customer's account. Air miles earned on TLC Jet flights do not qualify towards American's Million Miler programme.
Steve Johnson, American's vice chair and chief strategy officer, said in April that the partnership allows customers to "optimize every dollar spent, whether traveling privately or commercially, while enjoying an elevated travel experience." Justin Firestone, founder and president of TLC Jet, echoed the sentiment, noting that "today's travelers are seeking more premium experiences."
TLC Jet's fleet and services
TLC Jet operates a fleet of 15 aircraft types, ranging from turboprops to heavy jets. The fleet includes Cessna Caravan, Embraer Phenom 300, Hawker 800XP, Bombardier Challenger 300/350, and Gulfstream GIV-SP aircraft.
Earlier this month, TLC Jet partnered to offer private aviation services for guests traveling to WIMCO St. Barth Properties, including last-mile air connectivity between San Juan and St. Barth. Those flights will use late-model Pilatus PC-12 aircraft with seating for up to eight passengers.
