OneFlight International pays delayed payroll after September flight suspension

The jet card seller made the payment on September 30 after pausing operations midway through the month, but faces three lawsuits from clients over alleged prepaid charter funds.

OneFlight International has paid employees a delayed payroll after missing payment when the company paused flight activity on September 16, 2026, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons.

The payroll was processed on September 30, 2026, following an internal email from VP of Human Resources Ruby Dalton, who is the sister of CEO Ferren Rajput. Dalton's email, obtained by Private Jet Card Comparisons and confirmed by OneFlight employees, stated that the disbursement included salary, wages, earned commissions, earned bonuses, travel expenses, and unused personal time off. The payment also included refunds for payroll contributions deducted for October health coverage.

Dalton wrote, "Our hope is that this news brings some relief and a little breathing room for you and your loved ones."

Client liability and lawsuits

The company may owe jet card and other clients over $300 million for prepaid private jet charter flights, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons. Since suspending flights, OneFlight has faced three lawsuits from jet card clients. One lawsuit, filed by Jeremy Ricks, alleged "the hallmark of a Ponzi scheme," according to Private Jet Card Comparisons.

It is unclear from available reporting what the current status of the company is or whether it plans to resume operations. A lawyer representing Rajput did not respond to a request for comment and updates on the company's status, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons.

Workforce and prior disclosure

The company was estimated to have had over 100 employees when it ceased normal operations. An earlier internal email from early September, obtained by Private Jet Card Comparisons, first brought public acknowledgment of financial issues at the jet card seller. That email came from Dalton and was confirmed by OneFlight employees.

Private Jet Card Comparisons also obtained a subsequent email from Dalton announcing the payroll payment. The announcement came after the company's suspension left employees without pay and raised questions about the broader financial state of the operation.
