Hera Flight offers free hours to OneFlight members after broker grounds flights

Hera Flight, a St. Petersburg-based operator, is offering five free flight hours to any OneFlight member who joins its 25-hour jet card program, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons. The offer comes after OneFlight announced it was grounding all flights for 30 days.

Hera Flight announced the deal on social media. The five free hours apply only to the 25-hour super mid or heavy card, and only to the first flight, a Hera spokesperson told Private Jet Card Comparisons.

What the free hours are worth

At current market rates, those five free hours represent meaningful value. Private Jet Card Comparisons analysis shows the average hourly rate for super mid-size jet cards, including fuel and excise taxes, was $12,526 at the end of the second quarter of 2026, and $15,236 for heavy or large-size cards. Hera's own published rates are $9,000 per hour for super mid-size aircraft and $11,775 per hour for heavy jets.

Card terms and fleet

Hera's 25-hour cards cost $225,000 for super mid-size aircraft or $294,375 for heavy jets. According to Hera's website, the cards include empty-leg repositioning deals, locked-in hourly rates, and hours that never expire. The operator guarantees availability across the continental 48 states and the Bahamas as part of its primary service area.

According to FAA Part 135 charter aircraft data cited by Private Jet Card Comparisons, Hera Flight operates eight large-cabin Gulfstream GIVs and GVs. Its charter certificate includes ten supermidsize Citation Xs and a Challenger 300.

What remains unclear

For OneFlight cardholders, the reporting does not clarify whether existing contracts will be honoured during the 30-day suspension, or what options the broker is offering current members. It is also unclear from available reporting how many OneFlight members have accepted Hera's promotion. The reporting does not say when OneFlight expects to resume normal operations.
