Jettly launches category-based jet card with fixed hourly rates

The charter platform's jet card now offers five aircraft categories with rates from $5,411 to $15,623 per hour, starting at 50 hours.

Jettly has added category-based fixed-rate pricing to its jet card programme, allowing cardholders to access more than 100 aircraft types at fixed hourly rates rather than individual aircraft pricing.

According to Private Jet Card Comparisons, the jet card starts at 50 hours and requires a $50,000 deposit. A one-time $12,997 fee is waived if cardholders deposit $100,000 instead.

Pricing structure across five categories

The new card offers fixed hourly rates across five cabin categories: turboprops at $5,411 per hour; light jets at $6,618; midsize jets at $8,443; super-midsize jets at $11,107; and large jets at $15,623.

Jettly launched its fixed-rate jet card programme in 2023, when it previously offered only 10-and-25-hour options. The addition of category-based pricing represents an expansion of the programme's structure, though the reporting does not say whether the hourly rates or deposit requirements differ from those available under the earlier 10-and-25-hour formats.

The platform's charter offering now includes both specific aircraft pricing and this new category-based approach. Private Jet Card Comparisons reports that the five-cabin-category structure adds flexibility for cardholders seeking predictable rates across different aircraft types.

What the reporting does not cover

It remains unclear from available reporting whether existing cardholders can convert to the new category structure, or whether new purchases must use it. The reporting also does not specify the terms of the five-category option—whether rates apply to all aircraft within a category, or whether some aircraft within a category command higher fees. Additionally, the reporting does not say whether the $50,000 deposit or $12,997 fee applies to all cardholders or only those selecting the category-based pricing option.

Neither the terms of service conversion nor the precise applicability of deposit and fee structures to different customer types have been disclosed. Private Jet Card Comparisons does not clarify whether cardholders on the earlier 10-and-25-hour formats can switch without penalty, or what the transition process might entail. For charter buyers holding the earlier jet card versions, the lack of clarity on conversion rights is a material question worth raising with their broker before the new category-based structure is released.
