Jettly launches Smart Match, an AI-powered jet charter platform

Private jet charter broker Jettly has launched Smart Match, a new AI workflow that will serve as the default routing engine for every charter request submitted through its platform, effective immediately.

According to Private Jet Card Comparisons, the system promises to match clients with operators and aircraft within 24 hours. Smart Match considers the submitted route, aircraft preference, timing and budget before canvassing Jettly's marketplace to return a quote.

The Toronto-based broker positions the tool against the industry standard. According to a press release cited by Private Jet Card Comparisons, broker quotes usually take a "multi-day phone-and-email sourcing cycle that still defines most of the industry," which Smart Match is designed to reduce.

Jettly CEO Justin Crabbe said in the press release: "The goal is not simply to make the booking process faster," and "to create an environment where travelers can have greater visibility into available aircraft and options."

The rollout is global. Jettly also reported that operators on its marketplace saw higher quote-to-book conversion rates during the initial rollout of Smart Match, though the reporting does not give a figure for that increase or the scope of the initial phase.

It is unclear from available reporting whether Smart Match affects the pricing of charter quotes, or whether the 24-hour timeline applies to all routes and aircraft types.

For charter clients with existing broker relationships, the reporting does not say whether Smart Match changes the quote process for brokers outside Jettly's marketplace, or whether the 24-hour promise applies only to matches found within Jettly's own operator network.
