Hera Flight has acquired four Cessna Citation X jets, expanding its fleet to 26 aircraft ahead of the peak season, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons.

The four jets join Hera's existing 10 Citation X aircraft. Jonathan Hollar, co-owner of Hera, said the addition addresses demand for availability during the busy season. "Adding four more Citation X aircraft to our fleet gives us the flexibility to meet surging demand for fast, reliable charter service without sacrificing the personalized experience our clients expect," Hollar said in a press release.

The Citation X has a range of 2,890 nautical miles and a maximum cruise speed of 700 miles per hour. According to FAA Part 135 charter aircraft data cited by Private Jet Card Comparisons, Hera's fleet also includes seven Gulfstream GIVs, one Gulfstream GV, a Bombardier Challenger 300, and three Learjet 60s.

Hera plans to continue expanding. The operator said it has "additional aircraft acquisitions and service enhancements planned in the months ahead."

The operator first announced its expansion plans in May 2026. In 2025, Hera moved up four positions to rank 22nd among the largest U.S. private jet companies by charter and fractional flight hours. The company posted 27.7% growth in flight hours in 2025 compared with 2024.

For charter clients, the fleet expansion directly addresses availability during peak demand periods. The addition of four aircraft to Hera's Citation X fleet increases the operator's capacity to accommodate bookings without turning away business during the busiest months.

Hera's growth reflects sustained demand in the charter market. The operator's rise in rankings, combined with year-on-year flight-hour increases, suggests both market expansion and successful client retention. Whether the new capacity will be deployed exclusively on managed charter or allocated to fractional ownership programmes is unclear from available reporting.

As Hera enters what Hollar described as "our busiest season yet," the fleet expansion reflects confidence in sustained demand. The reporting does not say whether existing charter clients will see changes to availability guarantees or pricing as a result of the expansion.
