Paramount Business Jets gains dual industry safety certifications

Paramount Business Jets has attained certified broker status from both ARGUS and Wyvern, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons. The Virginia-based charter broker is now an ARGUS Certified Charter Broker and a Wyvern Wingman Broker.

Third-party auditors issue both certificates after reviewing aviation-related companies for safety and service standards. Both audits include a review of a company's business practices and safety standards, and are intended as much to promote a culture of safety as to reassure clients.

The certifications

Richard Zaher, Paramount's CEO, said in a press release that "earning the ARGUS Certified Charter Broker designation is an important milestone because it independently validates the standards we have worked to uphold for years." He continued: "Safety is the foundation of every trip we arrange, exceptional service defines the client experience, and transparency is a principle we pioneered in our jet card membership. This certification reinforces those commitments and our responsibility to keep raising the bar."

Amanda McCreary, Paramount's senior vice-president, told Private Jet Card Comparisons: "We are proud to hold both distinctions."

What the certifications mean

For charter clients, both ARGUS and Wyvern certifications represent independent validation of a broker's safety practices and operational standards. The reporting does not say whether holding both certifications affects pricing for charter customers or changes the terms of existing jet card contracts. The certifications are largely reassurance that a broker has met established industry standards rather than a guarantee of specific service levels or pricing terms.

Paramount joins other brokers who have pursued these dual certifications, though the reporting does not name competing brokers holding the same designations or say how common dual certification is in the market. For customers evaluating charter brokers, these certifications are one data point in assessing operational rigour, though they are not substitutes for reviewing specific contract terms with a broker or flight department.
